Lyd kindly lent us her ironing board and we also were offered a cup of tea with her and the family, who were all very friendly and welcoming.

It was close to coast about a 30min drive and lots of other interesting things to do in the local area.

Us grown-ups appreciated being close-by as he slept and fell in love with the views and the wildlife. The location was great and although you definitely feel secluded, Rothbury isn’t too much of walk. We loved exploring the town as much as the rest of Northumberland nearby. Andy and Lyd were lovely down to earth hosts who made us feel very welcome. Thanks for having us!
